Baldwin Announces New BD50000 Lube Filter
Designed for durability and performance, the BD50000 is the first lube filter to incorporate Baldwin’s next generation of highly engineered media. It is a high quality alternative to the LF14000NN.
In overall efficiency, the Baldwin BD50000 meets or exceeds the OE filter over the full life of the filter. Maximum protection means longer life and higher performance for sophisticated modern engines.
1. High Overall Efficiency: provides superior protection against wear and extends parts life
2. High Capacity: 17% greater capacity than the OE for longer filter life
3. Lower Flow Restriction: 40% lower restriction at cold-start improves flow and reduces wear
4. Unsurpassed Structural Integrity: superior reinforcement ensures durability and prevents contaminant leaks
Baldwin does not compromise when it comes to quality construction and design. Baldwin Filters are routinely tested above and beyond industry standards, ensuring reliable performance under the toughest conditions.
“I am excited to release the BD50000 to our customers” said Farrell Calcaterra, CLARCOR Engine Mobile Group Vice President, Research and Development. “Through a collaborative effort between resources at CLARCOR’s Innovation Center and CLARCOR Engine Mobile Group, we have developed a world-class filter that keeps with the rich tradition of quality and performance that Baldwin Filters’ customers have come to expect.”

Baldwin Filters Announces New, First to Aftermarket Air Filter
Baldwin Filters is pleased to announce the new CA30102 Channel Flow EXO™ air filter. The Baldwin CA30102 is the first aftermarket air filter to replace the P611698 OE filter for Kenworth truck models T440, T470, T660 and T800.
The CA30102 utilizes Baldwin’s proprietary Channel Flow EXO™ technology. Channel Flow EXO takes the unique fluted media design of Channel Flow air filters and combines it with proprietary structural technology. As a result, the CA30102 is as durable as it is efficient, surpassing the OE in its ability to protect heavy-duty engines under the most extreme working conditions.
Like all Baldwin manufactured filters, the CA30102 meets strict quality standards. “Not only are Baldwin filters tested above and beyond industry standards,” said Stefan Polywka, Vice President of Operations, CLARCOR Engine Mobile Group, “our manufacturing processes exceed 6 Sigma standards, guaranteeing that every filter will meet our customers’ high expectations for durability and performance.”
Just a small amount of contaminant can destroy an engine. That’s why it is so important to have the right air filter. Baldwin Filter’s Channel Flow EXO air filters are the best protection for hard working trucks.
Baldwin Filters Announces New Channel Flow EXO Air Filter Technology
Channel Flow EXO™ is the next generation of the popular Baldwin Filters Channel Flow air filter line. Channel Flow EXO air filters take the unique fluted media design of Channel Flow air filters and combine it with new, proprietary technology. The result is a compact air filter line that allows for design flexibility and is both highly durable and efficient.
The unprecedented filter design utilizes patent-pending reinforcement techniques to ensure the media remains securely in place and undamaged and protects the engine throughout the entire life cycle of the filter. The Channel Flow EXO’s unique design also allows for more media surface area, accurate and secure installation and rugged protection.
“We are excited to bring this advanced technology to the marketplace,” said Steve Zimmerman, Group Product Director, CLARCOR Engine Mobile Group. “By improving on an already outstanding filter design, we can provide the best protection for today’s high performing, cleaner running engines.”
Baldwin filters are routinely tested above and beyond industry standards, ensuring reliable performance under the toughest conditions. In rigorous testing, Channel Flow EXO air filters demonstrated extreme structural integrity. They consistently survived extreme conditions with no signs of damage or media distortion. Comparable OE filters failed less than halfway into the life of the test.
In initial efficiency tests, Channel Flow EXO outperformed the competition by a wide margin. Further testing proved that over the filter’s life, the design met or exceeded the OE and surpassed all other aftermarket filters.
